HTML Emails just got harder to write

Following hard on the heels of Mark Wyner’s thorough report on the pains of authoring for HTML email comes this bombshell. It looks as though the message for 2007 is that HTML email is going to be even more trouble to author than it was before.

Maybe Microsoft’s idea is to persuade honest mailing list providers to drop HTML altogether, making it easier to spot the spammers? It’s a thought.
