Thank you for this post…it was the only one that actually answered my question directly and in a way I could understand. I am considering persuing a degree in the computers field (info sys) and trying to figure out the difference between web developement and web design. Thanks again!

I was trying to make my main blog page look different then a category blog page and with different content. Virtually I wanted two blogs on one wordpress site. This plugin helped me get the job done. I would recommend three plugins that helped me to get the job done: Advanced Category Excluder, Widget Logic, and Redirection. It was a matter of being able to exclude certain posts from our main blog page (Advanced Category Excluder) then being able to exclude sidebar menu widgets from certain categories (Widget Logic). The Redirection plugin allowed to direct the blogs category link that is part of our theme back to the main blog page.

Ted, thanks for your comments. Glad you got the plugin working in the end. I don’t have much time to work on it right now, so it’s good to hear it’s still working with newer versions of WordPress.

To solve the mystery of my two blogs…
I started the first blog and at that time I was not able to get the plugin to work. I stayed with it and began getting results. So it must have been user error. Now it appears that I am getting the results that I had hoped for!

Just wanted you to know that I am using WP 3.3 and have just downloaded your plugin and it is working beautifully!

The potential of what I am reading about this plugin sounds great!

I cannot get it to work at al1!

I am using WP 3.3 and the DeepFocus Elegant Themes theme.

I have followed all directions to the letter. Does this plugin work with 3.3?
I am sorry if I am overlooking the obvious…is there additional training on-line concerning this plugin?
